The winners every week will be announced on Facebook every Wednesday.
​
Week 4 will be run differently from the previous weeks- for more variety and more fun!
You all will be playing the role of the judges this week.
​
Task for
Week 4: 9th- 16th of May 2020
Perform one Sequence of any 5 tricks from the list.
Use at least one prop during this sequence. You may re-use the previously submitted tricks.
AND
Perform 2 other tricks of your choice using props (they can be performed by dog as a follow up to the above sequence or individually).

For the sequence, the tricks should be performed one after another.
Aim to reward at the end of the sequence of 5 tricks not after each of the tricks.

Post the video of your dog performing those 7 tricks onto the Dog Talent Association Facebook page as a comment under the Class you are entering by the end of Saturday the 16th of May, but the sooner you do it the better (as you'll get more time to collect votes).
Include the name of the dog/dogs in your video.
There will be a separate post created for each of the classes.
If you are entering your dog into more than one class please post it as a comment under each class you wish to enter.
If you are entering several dogs please post a separate video for each of your dogs (except for the team class).

Complete the Submission Form and your entry fee for each class in the usual way via this website.

The winners will be determined by the number of "likes" or other positive reactions your video comment will get in each of the classes.
​
VOTING RULES:
The voting will be open until Midnight (British Summer Time) on Sunday the 17th of May.
Anyone can vote by putting a "like" against the video comment, including those who are not taking part in the competition such as your friends, colleagues, relatives etc.
You can vote for more than one submission in each of the classes and yes you can vote for your own submission too.
If you wish, you can also comment on submissions (but please be friendly, fair and constructive).

Top 5 submissions by the number of 'likes" (or other positive reaction) in each of the class will receive the named certificates and the points earned at Week 4 will be counted just as before towards the dog's total points in the competition. The Winners will be announced on Monday as usual.

This week's task is inspired by the Novice Talent Show Dog Title.
If your dog can perform sequences of tricks and you enjoy showing your dog's tricks consider doing Talent Show Dog Titles.
Talent Show Dog titles are designed for those dogs and their owners who would like to show their dog tricks to an audience. The audience could be a real-life audience or a virtual. It could be your friends, family, mates, virtual followers or anybody else who appreciated dogs and some cool tricks.

Prizes:
EVERY week the top 5 dogs in EACH of the classes will receive a printable named certificate by e-mail.
​
The International Trick Dog Champion and overall winners in each class will receive a named certificate.
The Champion will additionally receive a rosette by post. Rosette to the Champion will be sent at no extra cost to any country in the world.
Top 5 finalists in each of the categories will also be able to receive rosettes for a small financial contribution just to cover the rosette costs and postage.
All other class finalists will receive printable named certificates.

Classes:
1. Puppy (under 12 months)
2. Adult dog (1-10 years old)
3. Senior dog (10 years +)
4. Rescue dog
5. Disabled dog
6. Child handler - dog performing the tricks with child handler under 16 years old
7. Dog team (2 or more dogs performing the tricks together)

You can enter your dog into more than one class. For example, for the same week, you can enter your video into class 2, class 4 and class 6 for more chances to win and more points.
​
How does it work?
The competition will run over 10 weeks.
Each week you’ll choose from a large selection of tricks to perform with your dog.
Video your dog performing the tricks and submit online.
Enter your dog into one or more classes each week.
You’ll be awarded points for entry to each class and additional points for each top 5 places awarded:
1st place in class- an additional 10 points
2nd place - additional 7 points
3rd place - additional 5 points
4th place- additional 3 points
5th place- additional 2 points
If your dog is placed in more than one class all of the additional points will be counted.
For example, if your dog is awarded 1st and 2nd places in two different classes, you’ll get 2 points for entry (one per class) plus 10 points for the 1st place and 7 further points for the 2nd place, making 19 points in total for that week.
The dog with the most points at the end of the 10 weeks will become International Trick Dog Champion.
Additionally, dogs who receive most of the points in each of the classes will be awarded 1st, 2nd or 3rd places in the class.

How to enter:
Entry costs USA $2.50, £2 or 2 Euro per week per class. You can enter more than one class per week.
Payment is online using PayPal or card via this website by completing the Submission form.

You need to submit your weekly entry within the specified dates by completing the Submission form together with your video.
You can join the competition at any point.
Winners for each week will be announced each Tuesday.
