Helper Dog Talent Track
Helper Talent Track suits best of all the teams with good bond where the handler would like the dog to learn some actually useful skills and behaviours, not just tricks.
This could include helping for fun, such as fetching stuff or tidying up, emotional support or helping the owner with the daily needs and tasks.
This Talent track will also suit many of the Service and Therapy dogs and will help to broaden and strengthen their skills.

By following this Talent Track by Dog Talent Association you’ll be teaching your dog a number of useful skills such as putting stuff on their places, finding and fetching things, opening and closing doors, helping with the washing machine, helping to unzip or to take off clothes, giving you a hug when you need it and cheering up when you feel sad etc.
Helper Talent Track will allow your dog to receive the following Titles:
- Novice Helper Trick Dog title
- Advanced Helper Trick Dog title
- Expert Helper Trick Dog title
and ultimately, the Champion Trick Dog Title
Before you start working on the Novice Helper Trick Dog title your team needs to either pass the Foundation Trick Dog title or provide the evidence that you’ve already achieved the KC Bronze or above or AKC GC. It could be a simple photo of your rosette or of the certificate which you can e-mail us.
